Our thesis →

  • One more way to support them

    Founders Network has backed founders with peer mentorship for fifteen years. The fund doesn't replace that relationship, it extends it: capital is one more form of support we can offer a founder in the community.

  • Concentrated by conviction

    We believe great founders stand out and that picking is possible. We'd rather hold a real position in a company we understand than a sliver of one we don't.

  • Our kind of founder

    Not every founder wants what we offer. The ones who do value peer mentorship and use it, and that is how we earn our place on a cap table.

  • Any sector, any city

    We don't pick a sector or a geography. We back FN founders wherever they are and whatever they're building. Today that means pre-seed, $50K–$500K.
